Hello Peeps! Remind lang ko na nag-open na ang applications for next school year for most programs.. apply namo... gamai ra kau pinoy dinhi nga Erasmus Mundus Scholar... ato ni itake advantage kay they are allocating money for scholarships for the entire Asia.. hehehehe =))

yep... hehehe! pero inig human sa applications... madead napud na ilang webpages.. wala nay update2 until the next applications for the next school years.. so check2 lang gyud once in a while sa ilang site.. naa pud daw ang European Union magbuhat ug Erasmus Mundus Ph.D scholarships.. pero depende ra daw sa Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarships... as of now, 3rd years na ang Erasmus Mundus MS scholarships.. na apil ko sa 3rd batch.. hehehe!

The Erasmus Mundus is supposed to expire this year, but the European Council has decided to extend the program for another five years!

Has anyone else applied? I really want to apply for the Mundusfor programme, pero nangita man sila ug language skills. Hhmmm, to study a foreign language or not?

yep.. i heard sa akong professors dinhi that they are also planning an Erasmus Mundus Ph.D.

I just finished my 1st semester in Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium. 2nd sem will begin soon for me here in Vrije University Brussels, Belgium. Akong ishare ako experience sa 1st semester. MAKABUANG! may unta makapassar ko.... They're educational system here in Belgium is rumored to be very very difficult. And it really is. You will have 4-5 months all straight lectures and maybe excercises. Then on the 5th month you have an full comprehensive exam. It really requires a lot of work. Each course kay baga kau ang course notes then sa exam only 4-6 problems you have to answer during the exam. Funny thing is that the entire course notes is very very broad. And the 4-6 problems are just random specific topics in the course notes. Nya you try to study all information in the course notes then 1 of the problem could ask you one topic which you have to answer in detail. You really have to study each part of the course notes in great detail. Karon pako kasulay tuon 12 hours in one day before the exam. I don't know the results yet but I tried my best and I hope I passed.

Ang ingon sa mga tao dinhi kay lisod gyud daw kanu kau ang Belgium tungod sa ilang educational system. Mas muprefer ko naay midterms para dili kau bug.at inig final exam. Anyway, good thing is that they offer retake exam if you fail at the end of the school year. Pero dili ko ganahn mahagbong kay if I have to retake the exam I have to stay one month during vacation so minus one month na akong pang uli sa pinas. =(...

Anyway, I heard different countries in europe have different educational systems. I heard that Sweden has a very forgiving educational system. But what matters really is your passion and determination! Good Luck to you applicants! Ask me you have questions.. =))
