i visited the site, www.kabbalah.com and learned that Kabbalah is not just for a particular religion, it can be embraced by all whatever religion they may already be in.

There is a "hidden" sephirot in the middle of the 2-3-4-5 square named "Daat." It comes about because a tree of life may be placed on top of another, with upper-6 overlayed with the lower-1, upper-7 with lower-2, upper-8 with lower-3, and upper-10 with lower-6. This leaves the upper-9 unmatched with a sephirot of the lower tree. This place falls in the middle of the 2-3-4-5 square of the lower tree. (Four trees may be stacked, with each tree representing one of the four worlds, sometimes called Jakob's ladder.)
My personal understanding of the tree of life is that this is the architecture, design pattern, or formula for everything, from the universe down to humans (being a small universe). The great architecture would work like a fractal, except in this case, instead of fractals by geometry, we have fractals based on the topology of principles related to each other in a certain way, with the sephira representing 10 principles and links representing how these principles are related to each other.
There is more than one way of interpreting the Kabbalah, and if one would attempt to figure it out for one's self, one might never solve it. Many have attempted, and I'm not sure who, if anyone, really figured it out. What follows is just my personal interpretation of tradition or what I commonly encounter, and it is one out of so many other possibilities.
1 - highest, innermost, source
2 - masculine, active
3 - feminine, passive
4 - expansion, leniency
5 - contraction, severity
6 - center, essence, summary
7 - creative
8 - repetitive
9 - personality, ego
10 - lowest, outermost, hide (skin), manifestation
The tree may also refers to four worlds or layers, from the innermost (or highest) to the outermost (or lowest): Azilut (source) in the 1-2-Daat-3-1 area, Beriah (ideation) in the 2-4-6-5-3-Daat-2 area, Yetzirah (conception) in the 4-7-9-8-5-6-4 area, and Assiyah (manifestation) in the 7-10-8-9-7 area. The words in parenthesis are my own abstractions of these concepts. As an overall picture, these worlds match the spheres: divine, spiritual, soul or astral, and material.

The Kabbalah also mentions the Ain (void) Sof (infinite) Aur (light) as that above the tree of life. The Ain Sof Aur is to the divine, as the tree of life is to creation. My personal interpretation to this is that creation would be the thoughts (the void would be like the infinite mind these thougths would come from) of the All in all willed into existence. Also, the infinite All in all is "manifest to us" as with a center (central spiritual sun) emanating to infinity (infinite light).
Putting some of these theory together, for example, applying the tree of life design pattern to a computer:
1 - computation
2 - numbers
3 - binary logic
4 - electricity
5 - digital electronics
6 - processor
7 - software
8 - motherboard
9 - permanent storage (the one with the OS)
10 - housing or casing
This model may not even be correct, hehehe. Anyone may come-up with something better. This is only to give an idea.

On the applied or non-theoretical side, there are meditative (down to up) and magical (up to down) techniques associated with the Kaballah. These are typically taught in the schools that offer them. However, I'm not recommending any one approach, technique, or school (if any). It's up to the person to judge the wise course of action.
These techniques most probably are patterned after the tree of life, one way or the other: like visualizing the tree of life or parts of it, contemplating the tree or parts of it, and so on, along with other specific exercises.
