eh, screw tourist attractions ... what Cebu needs is an industry that doesn't rely on the business of people coming to Cebu, but a business of exporting Cebu's human resources out. Cebu is never going to be the best tourist attraction in the Philippines, because what Cebu has, others have better.

Yes, makapuol na bitaw ang tourist "attractions"... problem is Cebuanos go to the malls or beaches on weekends. Murag mao ra man maadto-an. Good if we can have a large museum, a large zoo, a large aquarium (Cebu Ocean Park?), or a large amusement park. Gagmay ra kaayo ato attractions. Adto ka Casa Gorordo, gawas na in 30 minutes. Adto sa "zoo" sa Family Park, wa may nindot nga animals. Mahuman na ka ug 10 minutes. Adto Magellan's Cross, mahuman na after 10 pictures. Same with Mactan Shrine. Ang mga cultural shows sa Thailand ug China, mo abot ug 2 to 3 hours excluding lunch or dinner hours. Ang ato diri, sa small restaurants ra, included na sa dinner hours. Asa man tawon dad-on ang mga bisita? Sa SM ug sa Ayala na lang, bisan mas nindot pa ang malls overseas. OK kaayo mag island hopping, kay whole day. Pero asa naman nato dad-on ang tourists if they stay for five days in Cebu?
