Bro if you believed in the bible you will disregard this kind of information.
No one knows the exact day/time/year of the end of the world.

according to the bible:
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Matthew 24:3-7

in these verses JEsus Christ explaining or saying the situation when HE will be back, or the timing.
Then when these things will happen He will come back and will get the elect.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

and the exact date is in the hand or power of GOD:

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:6-8

and after the coming of Christ He will rule for 1000 years together the elect and 144,000 from the 12 tribes.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

So if you believed in the bible there's no reason that you will believe that the world will end in 2012.

But tell you frankly if you really believe that it will on 2012 it should be this year because Gregorian Calendar subtracted 4 years when they translated it from other calendar, try to search it for more information.


All I can say is that whosoever said that the world will end on particular date/time/year is a liar according to the bible:

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Deuteronomy 18:22

Many religious leaders and churches made a prediction about the end of the world, search in the internet for more info about leaders making predictions, even nostradamus predicted that the world will end on 1999 (november).
