Bro may i know wat kind of built in wifi u used so dat we can answer ur problem direct, bcuse bro most of d built in wifi they only limited range of connection in terms of WIFI, bcn unya maka kuha raka ug 15/25 percent of connections or may be ubos pa gyud ana dba. so simple suggest for ur problem is to buy a WIFI Router ur problem is solve just only a minutes of configurations u hv a good wireless connections... ill suggest this type of router u buy LINKYS Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G note; router hv a 4 port dats: all bro i hope this can help u

mga networking experts... i have the same problem to begin with then after reading the suggestions of buying a wifi router then i did buy one... now ang pag configure mao naka labad hinouon nako.. akong napalit na wifi router w/ 4ports lan... kana ra intawon sa cdrking... i read reviews about the way it performs its not good daw especially if naay walls kay hina gyud connection.. pero budget wise barato mangud then sulod raman sad ko sa balay ma gamit... i bought it yesterday... i am a globelines dsl subscriber... globelines provided me na ADSL MODEM/ROuter 4pors na gani siya... a laptop and a desktop is connected to it and both of them can access the internet w/o relying to each other if on ba or off ang usa ka station... i decided to a wifi router because my laptop is wifi capable na siya aron unta pud i can surf using my laptop w/o relying on the LAN cable... so last night i had everything setup following the manual to a T... but then dire na sangit... cdrking provided me step by step instructions on setting up the wifi router but only if your connection is SMARTBRO and PLDT and i was suprised nganu wala gi apil ang setup sa globelines... well anyways i tried ang setup sa pldt... dili mansiya ka give og internet access... naay wifi signal pero wala internet connection... kinsa naka suway na ani? ni post pud ko sa cdrking router na thread kung unsa na model ang router...

my wifi is 802.11 b/g 54mpbs.. have a short range lang.. can't reach our sala.. kay daghan na obstacles..

I'm still having problem with my laptop right now.. but able to connect using my builtin wifi to my laptop for atleast 5m-8m range (with obstacles)..

I'm planning to buy this @ PCX Linksys WRT160N WiFi N ultra range
but still, i'm reading some reviews on this, and other wifi routers.. tigum pa ko, so, builtin sa ko.. dugay pa ko kapalit..

coz I want to teach my dad more on internet due to business purposes..
