What's the best and most memorable summer vacation for you and why?

Kadtong Good Friday, went to Danao with my whole family. As in super lingaw bsan nasaag mi...
Then Black Saturday, went to Carcar with the whole family again. Lami kaayo ilang lechon. What made it so nice, it's because my father doesn't like to drive due to his bad back. Peru he sure didn't mind during those times..

mine was last 2001 nga for 1 week beach hopping

Ok. My best summer vacation, the best that I can remember was in Malapascua Island. We rented a pumpboat and circled the island, on our way back me and 5 others opted to sit on the "katig." The bamboo thing from each side of the boat. The waves were huge. Everytime the waves covered the katig, it covered us too so that it was hard to breathe from the constant submersion. The whole time I was there I was asking myself "why the hell am I doing this?" I can't swim very well and am terribly scared of sharks and we had nothing on to prevent us from being thrown. We all dubbed it The Malapascua Challenge afterwards.

There was a bar there too, where I lost almost all of my money from playing billiards. At night we slept inside our tents and ate fresh seafood all the time!

this summer was pretty great... we spent most of the summer going from one well-known beach place/ snorkeling site on different weekends... small wonder then that am now deeply tanned (but loving it!)
