Planning for a Major Vacation: How Early & Do You Get Super Excited Already?

Im talking about going to another place in the Phils. or another country that you plan to spend a lot, how early do you plan for this stuffs?

And say, if its a year away, do you get really excited already? Or do you not think about it til about a couple of months away?

For my case, BIG vacations, I get TOTALLY excited na, even if its many months away. I plan and save for it for a major experience. Yes, waiting is one of the hardest thing, but its also what makes it great IMO.

we usually plan our annual (major) vacation months ahead (since it involves arranging the schedule of everyone in the family as well as that of significant others, and of course saving up for it!)

as early as that, i usually surf the net trying to discover the best places to go, places to eat (resto, kilid-kilid and others) and of course look for the best deal when it comes to accomodation and plane fare... (para maka-food trip and shopping)
... and on dreary days when you're at work, you can always dream of the time zipping by until it's time to fly to your vacation destination...
