how much would it cost to set up one. we have 4 soundwin 2fxo 2fxs units, tried setting up the system with asterisk but it seem everytime we monitor the equipment it changes its configurations to GK723. our unit is SIP and H232 compliant. we wnat it integrated in our wireless system to connect our offices and to the net. it has a wan port 4 lan ports and 2 fxs 2 fxo

even setting it up in p2p mode maka ring mi sa office but when u answer wala tingog then o busy

it should work pretty straightforward, soundwin products, particulary their fx0-fxs are recognized on the voip-sip arena.
i believe its a misconfiguration on the sip-proxy on the fx0-fxs and maybe also on your sip registrar (asterisk). their might
be also misconfiguration on your network for RTP traffic, try replacing your phones with a ping-capable devices and ping
each other. if ping works, p2p mode should also work. however, you need to carefully look at the asterisk. its basically a
b2bua, all RTP traffic goes through it. so maybe the RTP made it from the phone to asterisk, but lost when it was routed
from asterisk to phone.

the cost of setup mainly a depends on your use, but i don't think it will be a problem. also you can have my services
as a voip-consultant if you prefer to do the hands-on on your network. thanks

do you have other solution? what other options do you offer

we're now in the development of bundling our SER with asterisk. this should support integrating
voip with PSTN, ENUM and other voip services offered on the internet like vonage, etc. the first release
should come out this summer. we'll keep you guys updated. thanks
