del Torro is a good choice, though Mr Jackson would make the movie perfect since he is working w/ the same people who made LOTR.
anyways, dili naman mo reprise si Bilbo Baggins sa iya role ( as the MAIN Hobbit ).
his role will go to James McAvoy ( atonement, Wanted ).

mao jud. mausab jud ang tone sa movie basta lahi na ang mag direct.

IMHO, DEL TORRO will make the movie dark as part of his technique.
whilst JACKSON will make this movie on a lighter side compared to that of LOTR.
the book itself has lighter tone that its sequels.

IMHO lang ha.

i've read the book and The Hobbit has rumor, action and a little thrill on it..mayta mapanindut! like LOTR..LOTR didn't fail me..wathced for like the 20th time na..the trilogy gyud..ehehehe!
