how to use HTML Meta Tags for search engine

Hi everyone...i badly need your help about meta tags.. this is how i embed the meta tags in my index page
<head>
<title>Hisoler Customs Brokerage</title>
<meta name="description" content="hisoler customs brokerage, hisoler,customs,brokerage">
<meta name="keywords" content="hisoler customs brokerage, hisoler,customs,brokerage">
<META name="keywords" content="META, Web page, robots">
</head>

but when i type the content hisoler customs brokerage, hisoler,customs and brokerage in the search field of yahoo and google, The page will never appear in the search result in yahoo and google datz y i need ur sincerely help.. Thank you and godbless u all.

Don't just rely on meta tags.

Each search engines have their own way of parsing pages. Yahoo is different, Google is different and other engines are different.

If you want your website get crawled easily, always use a lot of TEXTs and INFOs and crawlable contents. Lessen your fancy flash and images.

I also recommend to use google webmaster tool to submit sitemaps to them.

>i would suggest you change your keywords.. those keywords except "hisoler...." are highly competitive.. so concentrate on long tail keywords say " cebu city customs brokerage", " leading cebu customs brokerage firm" etc... before hitting one word keywords... its the best way to start..

>then work on articles/content .. submit it to bookmarking sites (digg, delicious, stumble, furl, etc..) but be sure to included your keywords also..

>then create blog farms, go to blogspot or wordpress create 5 blogs relating to custom brokerage or pick a topic then drop some of your keywords there and blend it with your content.. i know this is a bit black hat but ain't bad if this farms are niche blogs...

gamay ra kaayo effect ang meta tags, its the content that counts, ako nabantayan kay mas dako og chances sa search result if ang title mao imo 1st keyword, then ang content,links,etc... then submit dayon sa google,yahoo,etc, di man sad na mo effect overnight, you have to be patient, mo abot na og several weeks, for you to see results

bro mura man ug wala pa na nimo ma verify sa google webmaster tool mao nang wala paka ma index sa ila search database i verify sa unya hulat lang ug 1-2 weeks naa na lagi ka sa 1st page sa ila index. Usa pa gyud mura pa gyud wala pa gyud na nimo himo e ug site map para ang tanan nga page ma index. Hehehe

you mean its not yet indexed? your site needs traffic... or being linked to a fast indexed site.
