Ive tried microdermabrasion via aluminum crystals. Its more expensive than diamond peel because of the amount of wasted crystals. It cost me around 2500 for the first session and 2000 for the succeeding sessions. Ive only had 3 sessions because i find it too bothersome afterwards.

Ive one of the most revolting experiences after the treatment too. Since the face is sanded down, your skin will be VERY sensitive. The attendant used a cream of vitamin c daw... hookay... um... vitamin c is an acid... <pat> <pat> <pat> <rub> <rub> <rub> AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with the procedure is the crystals. Some of it can get into your nose and even eyes and ears. a "stick" is rubbed over and the crystals sand your face. The sand is vaccumed out via the same "stick" although some crystals dont get sucked back in. You will experience sensitivity and heavy peeling within the next 2-5 days

Overall, it is effective but too costly and you need around 10-12 sessions for miraculous results.

I heard diamond peel uses the "stick" but the crystals are attached to the "stick" and are not as potentially hazardous to your lungs.

Some salons offer diamond peel for 750 and others for as much as 3000. Im wondering if there really is a difference or just one of those "status" thinggies.

Please post your experiences. I would like to try diamond peel and see if its a better alternative for my really deep acne scars and bumps.
