other than the Meralco challenge, unsa may resignan ni Winston sa GSIS? can u cite a concrete example? in fact, he was the one who made a 180 degree turn of GSIS's finances from going bankrupt to one of the highest income earners in an agency. He also was instrumental in changes like the computerization & ATM system. Papas tanang anomalous transactions ana w/c had been hounding that agency for decades.

if u say, daghan na ga antos nga teachers. in what way? is it GSIS's fault or DepEd's fault? AFAIK, mag problema gyud na ang teachers kung dili on time mo-remit ang DepEd sa ilang contributions did2 sa GSIS. samot na gyud kung walay remit2x...that's barking on the wrong tree my friend...

and also, have u heard of C.L.I.P.? basin mao pud na hinungdan...i even saw it advertised on TV explaining what it is all about.

do u think ang maniobra sa Meralco naa ni Winston or GSIS? Kinsa man ang presidente diay sa Meralco? kinsa man sa mga kinakusgan nga pamilya ang in control ron sa Meralco? c Arroyo? c Garcia? c'mon...

in fact, Winston is fighting against the "maniobra" sa mga Lopezes in running Meralco affairs. do u want Meralco's rates to go down or not? libog lang ko nimo. i myt be mistaken, but u r against PGMA all the way, but that doesn't justify going against Winston pud ky abi appointed ni GMA? c'mon...if that's the way we think, i will not be surprised that u r also against Ace Durano, our tourism sec.

FYI, it is not a mona lisa painting. it is a Juan Luna painting. kbaw ka unsay value anang painting? sa mga foreigners there is a price tag on it, but for us Pinoys it is "priceless". it has a historic significance. mao btaw nga gisiguro gyud ug palit balik ang painting ky supposedly it belongs to the Filipino people. That painting was lost for decades but appeared in a Sotheby's auction...

besides, paintings like that is an "investment". sadly, daghan gihapon ang wa kasabot ini.

that painting is already a non-issue...

anyways, OT na ni.

in fairness to Winston, dili cya matandug sa katungdanan ky there is no reason to kick him out. IMHO, he is even deserving for praise, especially from fellow Cebuanos. shame? asa dapita?

meralco is controlled by the lopezes in the same manner nga ang veco controlled by aboitiz or the globe being controlled by the ayalas.. and so on and so forth..

if winston wants to fight the maniobras by some scheming businessmen, he doesn't need to look far kay naa sad ta ana diri sa cebu, but ever since gyud ni si winston hilig gyud ni siyag grandstanding murag KSP ba.. i'm not against GMA or other cebuanos holding important government positions, what i'm against ba kay kaning ilang pasikat kunohay nga nibati sila sa mga consumers/pobre pero himan himan di nila pa ubsan/abolish ang VAT or kanang tax nga gipatong sa gasolina/krudo - for starters... front rana nila ang nga ning "care" sila pero sa tino-od pagpang gukod rana ilang gibuhat... ok, kasabot naka?

i know about lagi ana like Aboitiz is to Veco, Ayala is to Globe. but ang pangutana, nag maniobra diay ni cla? naa diay binuang ang Veco? naay binuang sa Globe? wala so far. sa Meralco, mka pangutana gyud ka ngano usa cla sa pinaka mahal nga rate sa tibuok Asia...now get that.

KSP, grandstanding, pasikat kunohay...well, here is my views:

(1) KSP? this is subjective. depende ra na unsay tanaw nimo sa tawo. u even myt also say that i'm also KSP...if u say that KSP cya ky cgeg makita sa media, well, media exposure is part of his job. KSP diay nang gukdonon ka sa media?

(2) Political grandstanding? AFAIK, i only heard it sa senators ug congress doing an investigation.

(3) Pasikat kunohay? dili lang pasikat kundi sikat gyud daan...well, for starters, FYI, the tax on system losses will be abolished permanently. dili na pasikat pre.

kunohay ra ni "care" ky wala i-abolish/ubsan ang VAT ug kanang taxes sa krudo? kinanglan man na ang tax sa pang gobyerno intawn oi. dili man na mawala intawon oi...paubsan hinuon pwede but not scrap it. if im not mistaken, gipa ubsan na man gani nila ang import tax sa krudo from 3% to 1% to respond to spiraling world oil prices. sa VAT nuon wala. from 10% to 12% na man gani.

mangutana ko nimo, what if c Chiz Escudero or Ping Lacson ang GSIS president ug nag cgeg yaw2x against Meralco? would it change ur views? as for me it won't. i'm not looking at personalities & political affiliations (well, a little bit), but more on the issues at hand and the actions being taken.
