not, im saying walay connection ang temp in knowing your rpm. read my question again.. and its up to your thermostat switch to put our temp to its optimum state.

    toyota starlet gt

    1300cc
    1 liter / 11kms - city driving/aircon
    1 liter / 15kms - long drive/aircon

i think what aztina888 means is ang sakto(average) lng nga shifting points is 2 - 2.5 ang RPM. just enough to give you power to go to the next gear without really putting stress sa engine. anything below that sometime mo kala imo engine (which is mka daut pod sa engine), anything more than that dli nuon mka daut pero mo kalas pod ang gas.

Ang point ni Aztina based on our previous conversation is that dili economical ang driving if mubelow pa gyud ka anang 2k-2.5k for the rpm in which we basically have different opinions about it. 'Coz the main topic was based on gas consumption.

again to much of anything is bad... in this case too low of a rpm is not economical and might even damage your engine. i think what aztina888 means is ang SAKTO(average) lang nga shifting points is 2 - 2.5 ang RPM

    kana klaro na au..

No questions about the right rpm to stay but about the lesser economical consumption if it goes below 2k-2.5k, that remains for me to find out pa. 'Coz by mere feeling, i could say i'm shifting gears below the right standard rpm which you mentioned.

well you wouldnt know if your shifting at the said RPM cause you dont have a tach. you cant just say your well below 2k RPM just by mere feeling of the engine.

    Honda Civic Vti 1997 model
    1.6 Gas (manual)
    Consumption (liter/km): 1:13 - 1:15

consumption improved a bit after changing the airfilter
and also increasing the tire pressure a bit

I think There is no need for confusion.......

HIGHER REVS means more GAS is injected to the engine...... meaning MORE Fuel is consumed.....

When people here say lower REVS it DOESN'T mean they only go upto 1000rpm.... Engine dies when below 800rpm....

When WE SAY LOW revs that is upto 2000rpm-2500rpm... then you shift to the higher gear

You keep on saying lower revs means lower power and more fuel is consumed... YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR MIND
