there are some certain digital processor that really does sound good, though most does not really satisfy the guitarist. but even with analogs there are lot of brands that doesn't sound appealing to the ear... so in short it does really depend on who's using it and what particular music you are playing, let say you are doing Blues, so tube screamer is good for you and not the Boss metal Zone and if you're playing metal, Metal zone or any digitech/DOD metal distorsion is the one you're looking for. though DS could do well also, but need to add up some EQ. in short my brothers, effects are not really the thing to satisfy you with your playing it is your skills and on how your ear works.

ex: i see somewhere in a gig someone who's using a very expensive digital processor, and all trough their set the guy sounds awful not because of his playing, but because of the too much feedbacks and hummsound from his amp and the nextday I saw Gavin(purple helmets) just using his old ZOOM505 processor... man!!! you can't believe what you could hear from his amp, it almost sounds desame to the artist they've cover. and one more thing Jaan Quijano is using a ZOOM606 with the DOD metal distorsion and guest what he make lots of good tone from it.

sakto jud bro...hasol au ang digital...unlike analog kay liso2x ra ka sa imo nahan timpla..
IMO, when it comes to DS/OV kay mas nindot jud analog...no doubt...pero dli sad mabiyaan ang analog oi..hehe
For some EFX like DELAY and FLANGER kay mas nahan ko sa digital...pero to sum up all kay depende ra man jud na sa brand ba...anha rana daugon..hehehe
