why dont we just get rid of jeepneys and introduce mass transport?

if we cebuanos could band up together and lobby for a public mass transport system--like an MRT, for example--i believe then we could achieve just that...there's no use in just complaining about the poor quality of public transport in our metropolis, sometimes we need to take matters into our hands and address the right channels to get our demands across...

then maybe, we could have something like this:

jeepneys are a relic, remnants of a bygone past...soon they, will have to become obsolete...it's about time that we rid ourselves of the pollution they bring, the ceaseless traffic, and the impolite conductors, dispatchers, and drivers...they will have to lose their livelihood in the process, but resilient as we are, i'm sure they will manage...
