emaxx ip35 pro... heheheh
either Abit IP35-E or Emaxx IP35 Pro
Emaxx na lang. Grabe man diay ka nindot. Hopefully walay pakapin na bati nga you can't live with.
yup, but a very stable mobo than emaxx, for me emaxx is just a generic brand.Originally Posted by trashcan
Try na lang ko sa emaxx kay grabe ang features: supports e8400(old chipsets not deisgned), 4 dual channel memory slots(cheap branded ones have 2 slots only), 12 usb (cheap branded ones have 4-6 only), 1 esata (others: none), ps/2 keyboard and mouse (others uses usb ports), spdif in/out (others have out only), crossfire (cheap ones definitely has only one pcie), 2 pci (others have 1 and others have 3, so this is in-between), 2 pcie x1 (others have one only), 2 gigabit LAN( most have only one).
Finally, if I know better, this could have been almost a 10,000-peso motherboard, but it's only 4,500 pesos, available here in cebu and I can get it right away tomorrow afternoon. For problems, ako lang pambato is that it has warranty and i know how to complain and have the time to wait for replacements since I have extra computers to work on. I can complain every hour, like how i schedule complaints every hour about PLDT internet problems whenever I have which is seldom for 5 years now. I have a lawyer of a brother-in-law to speed things up. On a positive note, I can always try to understand cheap parts because I always patronize cheap ones whether it's from CDRking, made in the Philippines or China. It actually saved me thousands of pesos.
Naa pay napuno na high-end features: solid capacitors pud cya diay. Debug LED. Dual Bios (you can try modified bios from any programmer in the future safely). Wala lang cya firewire (I don't need it now) It doesn't use cooling pipes (most high-end have). It can't save overclocking settings as profiles(some high-end have). It has no raid (Sayang it would have been better than buying a raptor drive for my friend). But for the savings, you can definitely buy for the other features (cooling, firewire, raid).
So enough with the cheesy replies (Pun intended). Give us a break. Give us theoretical and practical facts if they are facts, give us opinions or perceptions if they are or give us experiences whether known or isolated cases.
@trashcan: asa man ni nga store available ang P35 chipset nga Emaxx? thanks...
Thanks for the help of some of the istoryans. As I've said real-world reviews and information applicable to my case and here in cebu. Another link for us to be impressed or discouraged by Emaxx IP35 Pro: http://www.tipidpc.com/viewtopic.php?tid=125990&page=1.
IF high-end is 4500 pesos, I wonder, how much is the lower-end Emaxx IP35-S (all features there except extra GB Lan, Single Bios) na lang kaha?
