its impossible to get the EXACT birth DATE but there are ways where we can accurately know a person's age. One of them is when a person reveals his age, like, i know the exact age of my grandfather but i dont know his exact birth date. i know that because He revealed his age to us.

The bible gave us his AGE but not the EXACT birth date like, he was born on May 5 1908, we dnt have that in the bible but we have his age. How did they determined his age? possible answer is, they translated whatever lunar/solar age determining way adam had into their version that existed during the time of Moses or during the time of the patriarchs.

example...if adam has the age of XXXXXXXXXX whatever it is they converted it into whatever ancient calendar they had during that time.

Scholars and scribes translated the bible but no editing if by it you mean some words were being maipulated.

the bible we're using nowadays has lots of errors. you may want to read Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman para ma-check ninyo which books in the bible have been corrupted due to errors of translation and/or copying. ('c',)
