we discriminate these doctors? the media is just sensationalizing the story.

WHY?

though the cheering was apparently unethical of a medical practitioner, a government hospital is very open and the management is so lax. i also know for a fact that these doctors are very overworked and this particular hospital is understaffed. though these doctors should have known better, "pawala sa duka" to ilang gibuhat which is very human. unfortunately, someone was stupid enough to post it on youtube. it was not the taking of video that made this a scandal, it was the publishing or posting of it.

looking at this untoward incident at a higher perspective, i believe that these doctors in a way are victims of circumstance. hypothetically, if this happened in chong hua, cebu doc or perpetual, would these doctors acted the same? i don't think so. so let us not jump the gun too soon.

mura ra gud na ug naa ta sa formal party, mag tinarong ta. pero kung naa ta sa beach, mag wild because that is a basic human instinct regardless of profession.

so if WE SHOULD point fingers, then i believe it should NOT ONLY be to these doctors.

the question now is, if these medical practitioners are to be stripped off their licenses, who will stand to lose?

IMHO, legally i think the doctors, at least the surgeons CANNOT be stripped off their licenses because they WERE NOT the ones who took the video. the worst that could happen is suspension.

funny thing is we judged the doctors however *****ic their actions may be, we never judged the victim. just like a prostitute crying rape.

on the other hand, janjan DOES NOT DESERVE to be compensated with moral damages either. if mao ni, tanan tawo nga baga ug nawong magpabinuang na lang para maka kwarta which will become a precedent.

i personally think that this incident should die a natural death but that's too late now because the issue has already reached a national probably international scale.
