bro, unsa na ang HAPKIDO?...dugay naku naka dungog ana dah...please kuno tagae me info bout that art...ty for the info also...
Hapkido is a Korean form of martial art that employs joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, and other strikes. It has a very close resemblance to Aikido since it's movements are circular, non-resisting, and controlling the opponent. It's emphasis is on leverage and avoiding the use of strength against strength. The difference is that Hapkido do have strikes.
It has both the "soft" and "hard" techniques. The soft techniques are considered those as similar to Aikido and Jujitsu or to what some call it, "passive martial art", while the hard techniques are those similar to Taekwondo or Tang Soo Do or the "active or aggressive martial art".
Basically, it's just like Taekwondo (non-sport), Judo, and Jujitsu, and Aikido roled into one since all the strikes and joint locks and movements look the same with those martial arts.
ahhh ok...now I understand...thank u for the info...
