REALLY? LOL Another one of those Filipino stupidity that just would'nt fly... What if that SUV is owned by this particular "someone"? They would not renew it?? GET REAL.... The only one who will get affected by this are those WHO DONT KNOW ANYBODY and I'm pretty sure it will still get renewed for a "CONSIDERABLE FEE".

Any iSTORYAN who believe this will be actually implemented as intended is either an IDIOT or OUT OF TOUCH.

i think CITOM is doing the impounding of those motorcycles... adto sulod sa bus terminal or sa CITOM area e park inyo motor bahalag maka bayad mog 10 or 15 kaysas 1,500... anyway, kadaghan raba aning mga SUV ga dagan karon basin magka moritsing unya na sila atubang og kaso kung ila ni ipadayon.. di mana sala sa buyer nga naa silay napalit ingun ana kung dili sala rasad sa goberno kay ilang gipalusot thanks to customs unya ila sad gepa register kudos to LTO unya ilang hasol hasolon ang buyers in good faith?

AFAIK, we should BLAME IT sa gabaligya or dealer sa surplus SUV. technical smuggling tawag ana. usually the smuggler is in cahoots w/ the broker who knows very well to go around w/ Customs laws. ilaha nang i-declare as parts pero inig abot diay dire tibuok diay nga awto. but so far ky lisod na man ipalusot ang tibuok awto, lain na sab ang ilahang style.

ilahang ipa ship dire as surplus parts and dinhi nlng nila assembolon nya ad2 nila ipa rehistro sa Toledo. saunz nasakspan man ang raket did2.

Malas lang pud cla karon ky ang LTO nag require na man ug Certificate of Stock Report (CSR) sa engine or chassis in replacement sa Certificate of Payment (CP) lang. kung dili ka produce ang seller ana, malamang smuggled kaayo na.

busa, as a buyer in good faith, pamili mo ug reliable nga seller like Hilton, RDAK, etc. make sure complete ang papers. better if u ask for an engine & chassis stencil for TMG checking purposes.

@goryo13: yes, u r right. it is the CITOM that does impounding of vehicles. But they have a private contractor (Jade or somethin) that do these things for them. Kung impound, impound gyud na. walay lusot...i think 15min ra man cguro ang tagal sa usa ka motor or awto nka illegal park b4 nila i-tow.

sus, disgrasya na ko ana sa manalili. to avoid a 10peso park fee, akong gipark sa sidewalk mismo, not the designated parking area for motorcycles. pgbalik nako, wa na tua na gi-impound...faetz...1500 na nuon akong gibayran. i learned discipline the hard way.

i know... that's why i mentioned the Toledo LTO incident as one major source of "palusot". naabot na btaw tong isyuha sa Congress.

unya unsaon man nato ni nga mao may nkatatak sa atoang balaud? Registering such vehicles violates Executive Order (EO) 156, which prohibits the importation and registration of used vehicles.

mao btaw nga ang mahims nlng nato is:

(1) iuli ang unit and ask for a refund w/c is next to impossible, but never impossible.

(2) complain or sue. Either sa seller, sa importer, or even sa LTO.

(3) itagak ang awto sa pangpang...(joke only)

korik. surplus ako na suv.. mao bitaw surplus na suv among napalit kay mao ra gyud tawn among ma afford. kung mak afford palang mi anang mga brand new ai,then why not..

niways, just went to LTO last week. there is a "fee" sa surplus suvs na ipa bayad upon registration this year. it is 50 thou per car and this applies to surplus vehicles 2006 and above. 2005 man ako pero im crossing my fingers na di ko maapil, sus ting bakuna pajud sa akong bata karong may. Lord help us sa gasto..

guys,gikan lang ko nagpa renew sa suv nako. ok raman..as of now wla pani na implement..strict lang gyud sila magkuha sa stencil sa imo sakyanan..
