if you are a bass head, then i would suggest sony EX71. the sound is 100x better than your ipod earbuds. i have to warn you, its not cheap, i bought mine for $49 bucks, unya wala pa gyud na dire sa cebu. i saw some other kind of EX series sa SM na sony store, you might wanna try there. and if you have some money to throw, then i would suggest anything from shure, they are worth every penny.

if sound quality is what you're after, then your setup should look something like this:

ipod - sik din - headphone amp - iem(in ear monitor)

OT: it depends how responsible ka when it comes to using earphones/headfones...just set a limit...when you hear ringing in your ears now that's early hearing loss..heheh..

i got my headphone amp from electric avenues, taga canada na sya, and he ships worldwide.
i got mine when i was in the US, i think ang price is still $60 shipped na anywhere in the world. when you do get an amp, i suggest getting a Line Out Dock
for the ipod as well... it bypasses the onboard amplifier sa ipod, so mas cleaner and detailed ang sound na mo gawas. you can buy the line out dock here:
Audio Line Out. mine is the Copper Dock, pero wala pa mo abot, i bought it for $68 shipped here
sa cebu, should be here next week. regarding the cable sa EX71, taas kaayo! ang bati sa ex71 is ang iyang cable, after a while basta cge ug rub sa imong pocket,
mapaksit ang cable, so makita na nimu ang wire sa sulod. im not sure kung asa ang mas taas na cable kaysa ipod, coz honestly, i've never even used my ipods stock
earbuds hehehe....

PS... naay nindot sad na Headphone amp, its called Little Dot Micro++. ang nindot is ang ga buhat kay taga hongkong or china ra, so mas duol ang shipping, and it
should be a bit cheaper as well... basin suwayan nako ug palit.

bose or at least an altec. in manila daw, only the "promdis" do not upgrade the earphones of their ipods. ilaha pud na.
