Why I should not? I care for the people. I care for my country and not some cheating President who is not willing to sacrifice herself but is willing to sacrifice the people so that she will survive.

There are no unplundered funds. There is simply nothing left in the government coffers. Our meager revenues from PAGCOR and PCSO are just simply siphoned off to the US where Mike Arroyo is enjoying the loot.

But before this issue will degenerate into something useless let us discuss the real concern which is the lack of funds. Let us say, Erap really plundered. Whats the relation about federalism?

In federal form of government we have a federal congress and at the same time state congress. we have federal courts and the same time state courts. Can you imagine the expenses. Its good if the government has money left like what yu call the unplundered funds. But even if there is unplundered funds it will not be enough.

At present the Arroyo government is contemplating a 1 point something trillion figure as our national budget. My God, for the first time in RP history that we are talking budget in trillions. How much more if we have 12 federal states and with the same state of economy. There will be fiscal hemmorhariging.

But anyway if you want the people to suffer more, just dont care. Go ahead with your plan.

Its the same thing. It is even hard for Cebu to embrace federalism how much more if it decides to go on its own.

pLEASE present strong basis why you can handle it. Its not enough that you declare you can handle it. Show concrete, sound and academic proofs why you can handle it than you too often hollow declarations.

The only time I supported Mrs Arroyo was when he pulled out the troops in Iraq and saved the life of Angelo de la Cruz.Â* I thought that at that time she is already thinking for her people.Â* But that was just for show and pa pogi points.Â* After she went back to her arrogant, insensitive, corrupt, and anti people ways.

I thought she will do her job as President coz she is now elected into a six year term, but to my dismay she prioritize paying political debts by appointing loyal but incompetent people in her Cabinet and in variuos government offices.Â*There was bata bata here nd there. worse, corruption is rampant. I was puzzled why she has to do it since she already won and would not be eligible for reelection.Â* Only now did I realized that she did it because she never won that election fair and square and that to appease those who helped her she is giving in to their demands.Â* Otherwise, these people will spill the beans to the public.

Besides, she didnt do anything to prop up the economy. No jobs, no salary increase except for the military and the police, no drive against corruption and jueteng, no economic development but higher taxes.Â*What I cannot understand is that while majority of the Filipino people are wallowing in abject poverty, here comes Gloria Arroyo and her family enjoying the good life by receiving jueteng payoffs, overpriced contracts (Diosdado Macapagal highway) and controlling cash cow agencies like PAGCOR, GSIS, NAIA etc. Besides her husband is subject to so many anomalies.

Life become harder contrary to what she has promised.

Most of all she is a certified liar.Â* She lied about not running,Â* and agin she lied about the true results of the elections.Â* What I find most reprehensible is that she doesnt respect the will of the people.

i was pi**ed with the "not running for president" stuff...she told the nation wide open and later on she changed her mind. geez, she used her being-a-woman prerogative thing...i didn't like her. i voted for someone else yet she won...so then my support for her as the president coz she was proclaimed...still i don't like her but just can't let her step down right now.

Nobody even presented a reason why federalism should be adopted even if it means additional expenses on the part of the federal government.Â* And you are just talking about 1 federal state.Â* What if the Philippines will transform itself into a 12 federal states?Â* You can just imagine the expenses that will be entailed if this federalism will push thru.Â* You can just imagine the fiscal strain that our limping provinces will suffer if this ambitious but unrealistic proposition should be insisted.

I dont oppose federalism per se.Â* But at what cost?Â* Is this feasible.Â* I am afraid that if this insisted the federal states cannot survive and will simply fold up.Â* Look at our economy.Â* It cannot even sustain the central government.Â* How much more if you create another 11 more just to accomodate the propositionof GMA.Â* In the end, its the taxpayers that will bear the brunt of this crazy and ill timed idea.Â*

To raise revenue, each state will impose its own taxes.Â* My goodness.Â* I cant imagine how much percent will they impose on the people.Â* Aside from that, the federal government will collect the so called Federal Added Tax or FAT.Â* Surely this FAT will suck our people dry that eventually they end up look famished and malnourished.

Let us not anchor our argument on fantasies and suppositions.Â* Lets be realistic.Â* Federalism is not feasible at this point in time.Â* Not to mention that the issue of parliamntary and federal form of government is only used as a means to deflect the heat of Garci tape on Gloria.Â* This proposition is obviously employed to divert the attention of the people from the real issue of the day - - - that of a President losing her credibility, her ability to govern and losing the support of the people.Â*
and another blah blah hahaha eat your heart out dude! hahahaha
