CP3 is simply phenomenal. He left Tim Duncan flying with a ball fake and made an ala "Michael Jordan" reverse.

They were not expected to defeat the 60-22 Utah Jazz in the first round, the 59-23 Phoenix Suns in the second round, then the 62-20 San Antonio Spurs in the Conference Finals. In fact, the Suns led the second-round series 2 games to 0. Houston came back to win the last three games of the series, and then got past the Spurs to reach the Finals, where they were matched up with the Orlando Magic. With Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway, the Magic were expected to win the championship. After that enormous struggle, Rudy Tomajanovich said: "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!"

The big help came to Cleveland and the Cavaliers continued to lose games. The MVP is not all about stats but it's all about winning and 11 other teams have made it beyond the 50-win mark and I'm thinking of somebody else who's more deserving to win the award (of course, other than Kobe and CP3), Dwight Howard is the name that comes in mind.
I failed to mention about needing more than the statistics to win the award. I agree to that. But in Lebron's case, both factors (stats and superstar status) have propelled him into the MVP race. The way I see it, the "big help" that you mentioned was not utilized effectively by Mike Brown and still Lebron has to handle the offensive responsibilities. What you said could be the reason why Lebron didn't win the MVP award.

So far, only one player has won the MVP award coming from a non-50 win team in NBA MVP history since the league adopted the 82-game format.
Tapol ko research, kinsa gani to nakadaug from a non-50 win team?

    Back to playoff talks:

During Spurs-Hornets, Chris Paul's shoes read "Brian!'' in white lettering in honor of an 8-year-old fan with cancer who was set to attend Monday's Game 2 but missed it with a fever and died hours later.

"To the family, I'm terribly sorry,'' Paul said after the game. "I'm just happy I could honor Brian tonight by putting his name on my shoes. It has to be the most touching story I've had as a professional athlete.'' .

Hahahahaha this cockiness is the reason why we butted heads in the past sa Kobe vs. LeBron remember..?^^

Now I know better not to get pissed hehehehe...

Whatever you say bai... But if I were the Lakers, I wouldn't be too complacent just yet with Jerry and the boys at Utah... Before Lakers fans can drool at the thought of beating either the Hornets or the Spurs, they should be concerned first on how the Lakers can steal on at Salt Lake... The Jazz wouldn't just lay on the ground and get counted to ten just because they are facing Mr. MVP and the boys from Hollywood... Do keep in mind Utah's reputation in their home turf...^^

If they can grab a 3 game lead in the series, fire away...^^
