ALLEN IVERSON - ALLSTAR/2001 MVP
CARMELO ANTHONY - ALLSTAR
KENYON MARTIN - ALLSTAR (new jersey days)
MARCUS CAMBY - DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2006-2007
they definitely have the talent.
....but was swept by the LAKERS??
who/what was the problem?

the problem? they don't play defense at all.. Camby is a terrible defender, most of his blocks gikan sa help defense..He can't play one-one against other players. Magtanga ra nuon nya palutson ang offensive player!
Ikaduha ang coach...d kamao mo-motivate sa iyang mga players. D pud na defense-oreinted si George Carl. Imagine, kada game the Nuggets usually give up 102-110 points sa ilang opponents. Realy bad!
Ikatulo, they need a legitimate point guard. D magsilbi si Chucky Atkins ug Anthony Carter. Though, the latter is playing well this season, kuwang gyud siya sa leadership.
Ikaupat, ang injuries...bag-o lang nakabalik si Martin nya si Nene kapila na wala kaduwa karon season kay tungod sa iyang sakit. Mau gani naayo.
They'll bounce back next season.. with a new set of coaching staff.
I doubt...George Karl is still the head coach
I'd say these are little things that cause a major impact in the Nuggets' basketball philosophy. However, you failed to mention the idea of MAKING THE EXTRA PASS.Originally Posted by dieseldust

"When we're not incorporating the pass, or trusting the pass or making the extra pass, whatever phrase you want to use, we seem to have a cloudy disposition," Karl said.
IN Game 2, Denver had only 12 assists counted among their 37 field goals. By comparison, the Lakers tallied 33 assists in 46 baskets.
AI led Denver with six assists. No other player totaled more than two.
Adjusting to making the "extra pass" would've spelled the difference in their series against the Lakers. However, they were not able to get this into their heads and there goes the series.

After a DUI last April, Carmelo Anthony is in the headlines once again after being caught and ticketed for speeding. Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson confirmed that Anthony was driving at 60 mph at a 45-mph zone in the 2400 block of South Santa Fe Drive. Anthony won't appear in court though and his ticket is payable by mail.
Nice one Melo, what's next for June?![]()
