Di ba a couple of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is peace and joy? I've experienced that many times before when I prayed. Indescribable peace and joy. Some Christians would say that when the Holy Spirit descends upon us, our spirits rejoices with the Holy Spirit that we have one Father, God. Someone also said that the Holy Spirit is actually the love that flows between the Father and the Son, and because this love is so real, so perfect, it is in fact a Person. So when the Holy Spirit descends upon us and we feel utterly joyful and at peace, our souls are actually "swimming" in that sea of love between the Father and the Son. But we have one God.

You may want to consult a priest to explain that better. I may be wrong, but that's how I understand it.
