Bibby was absent in this series, trade him in the offseason for a more consistent guard and a lock down defender (ala Artest) and this team is set. Ingun lage sa mga forums, the NBA is slowly becoming WWE, the high office makes it more exciting with scripts and all ehhe ... its all business and the Atl-Bos series was so high in the TV ratings.

On the Western Front, CP3 is shining right before our very eyes, and DAvid West - Man, i never thought he was this good offensively.. It's just 1 game but I really believe they have the tools to knock off the spurs!

immature pa jud si Josh Smith , nag ka ratol-ratol man sa game 7,
but im sure Hawks will be a good contender for next season,
Mike Bibby is the missing link for Hawks ...

If game 7 was played at Atlanta, there's a possibility that the Hawks can steal the series from the Celtics. The Celtics are too much for Atlanta at Boston and in the first three wins the Celtics had, they were averaging a winning margin of more than 20 points per game. That alone would tell that the Hawks will lose game 7 not unless Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson, Josh Smith and the rest of the Hawks turn into supermen. A 34-point blowout was an exclamation point bringing back the memories of Dallas blowing out Houston by about 30 points in 2005 after the series went to a game 7.

Cleveland doesn't have a Josh Smith and a Mike Bibby. The second round is an easier task for the Celtics.

Everything will be on the refs hands. A Hornets-Lakers match will be as good as a Spurs-Lakers match in the conference finals because it would showcase the top two players running for the MVP plum. Chris Paul vs Kobe Bryant would spell high ratings for the NBA. If I'm not mistaken, the MVP award is given during the conference finals so they "might" try to make it sure that both players are still in contention.

But no matter what happens in the playoffs, I see a Celtics-Lakers match in the finals.

Tsk I expected the Hawks to lose...

I agree with yokam that indeed the Hawks got more talent than the Cavs...

Celts only need to clamp down on LeBron... Other Cavs players couldn't put up descent numbers on a consistent basis...

Ben Wallace couldn't even do the thigs he used to do like block shots and grab 10+ rebs... He's past his prime already...

Let's remember that last year vs the Pistons, we were saying the same things - that LeBron vs 5 players in a team could never win. And look at how he played during Game 4 (or was it 5) of that series. He completely DOMINATED the game by himself.

Mao jud! Man, I hope LeBron could pull off a performance like that again... ^^

Well at least that seems to be the only gameplan for Boston...

If I'm not mistaken, they split the season series but the only thing was that the Cavs were never in full strength. So it's all a toss-up pa rin...

But I'm still rooting for the Celts.
