I think it's not fair to judge that way.
Maybe the girl is not a Cebuano nor a Manileño.
but lived in manila for five years and lived in Cebu for three years.

Lisud baya tuon dialect which is not your native dialect.
And magkamix mix na ang mga words...
So sometimes makalimot.

There are also person I know who constantly travel
so malibog siya kung sa cebu na ba siya or manila so
whenever he rides a taxi, isipon niya what to speak,
tagalog ba or cebuano...

I stayed in Manila for quite sometime and I agree they
looked down not only to Cebuanos but to all Visayans,
whether Cebuano, Boholano, Waray or Ilonggo...
It is because, they thought probinsyano ta... but
who cares? What matters is to prove them wrong...

hmmm pero murag other way around... daghan taga visayas na gi dislike mga taga manila... hmmm or defensive na lagi mga bisdaks because of how manilenos treat cebuanos??
