@mische, nobody could identify that it was janjan. Can you ?? Can anybody of you say that that was janjan bending over ?? All our butts looks the same, how could you pinpoint that is was janjan ?? And you can't directly say that it is Vicento Sotto just because of the setting and scrub suit, there was no name. How can you be humiliated when fact of the matter is, in the video, THERE WAS NO NAME, THERE WAS NO FACE, THERE WAS ONLY YOUR ARSE CHEEK.

...let me ask you your own question: given that same circumstance, would you tell it to the public that " HEY, THAT WAS ME, THAT WAS MY ARSE ON SCREEN ?? " Would you admit that in public ?? Coz, i wouldn't, there was no evidence that is was me, why would i humiliate myself.

.. janjan is doing it for the money, now, he is being funded by the some NGOs, but if you ask me, janjan is barking on the wrong tree. He shouldn't go after those doctors who helped him get that metal out his arse, he should press charges to the person who put that thing in his arse.

.. and to trace janjan case: he went to the hospital with a chief complaint of HAVING NOT FARTED FOR TWO DAYS. The doctors gave an X-ray and found that thing inside his body. All the doctors did was to have him in that bend over position and let his rectal muscles relax and the thing got out of him naturally, mura ra iya g.kalibang. The doctors didn't even had one incision on janjan. And of course, that being a weird case, those doctors and nurses on the other room got curious and some ( stupid one's ) called the others to come watch. THERE WAS EVEN MEDIA THERE. When it got out, to relieve tension, the doctor sprayed the cannister. It wasn't even towards the patient. One of the doctors is my friend, that's why i know.

... oh and let me repeat myself... what goes on inside the operating room stays in the operating room. Many of you might be against this but that is the common rule among doctors. I have lots of friends that are doctors and my mom's a nurse. And i've assisted in two operations in CCMC in their ophthalmology department. Assist as in tig.dunol ra gud, hehehe.

as ive said we can never pinpoint that it was jan2x's ass being covered over the video... i myself could not not until jan2x showed up to the open along with his medical certificate which is even more a humiliating act to do, just for him to have peace of mind in the latter part.... u'v surely have a very lousy way of reasoning ( forgive me for this) lets say for example one of your friend got your room covered and after he completed the video he showed it to you.. what would you say?? what do you think did those medical personnels do to him?? isnt it humiliating?? after seeing the whole video thing and you find yourself being surrounded by persons whom you dont know and laughing at you? even if THERE WAS NO NAME, THERE WAS NO FACE, THERE WAS ONLY YOUR ARSE CHEEK the person concerned could easily identify that it was really him on the video..

every person is different from you,, they have there own ways and so as with you... he bears all the humiliation to show himself to the public just for him to have justice on what those personnels did to him...

the person who put that thing on his anus no longer part of the topic.. he was not seen putting that canister over his anus... why is he barking the wrong tree?? is it because he is poor and the enemy is rich?? is it his fault to ask some help from the NGO's because he could not pay to fight for his right??

hahahah... natural!!!! where would someone go if he/she found out that there is something wrong going inside him?? even if they did no incision or whatever you reasons.. the fact that they are inside the O.R. they are not exempted to do aseptic technique or sterile technique.. whats the use of their scrub suits anyway... another thing, sakto diay na nga manawag pakag lain nga staff just to feast over the rare scenario nga naa man mo sulod sa O.R. and maski wla pa gi spray sa doctor ang spray towards sa patient or whosoever the act itself is showing some disrespect with matching katawa pa.. is that another way of showing nga na overwhelmed ka? nga naa paman ka sulod sa O.R. and the fact nga naa pa imo patient sa imo atubangan though unconscious siya??

now i know nganu laban ka sa mga wrong doing sa medical staffs kay friend diay nimo ang isa... let me laugh... if medical personnel pud ka.. at least you know whats medical ethics or if not try to ask your mom...

honestly speaking, im a nurse too thats why i reacted this way on the video.. cause ive seen a lot of leaks over the video which is also degrading on our profession (bag-uhay pa gani to nawala ang issue about sa leakage nana sad ni??)... nurses arent suppose to act that way am i right they should be patients advocate...they should at least know what are the do's and donts inside the O.R... on the first place if dili na nila practice ang magbugal2x sa mga rare case inside the O.R. pwede raman nila mapagawas ang mga curios ug ang mga stupid ones diba?? but what did they do, they just let it be and go with the flow, so pasabot ana naanad na diay sila nga ing-ana ang scenario kung rare case??

if what goes on inside the operating room stays in the operating room. nganu nigawas mani nga video nganung nana mana outside the operating room... which only shows nga dili tanan sulod sa operating room are professionals or cguro mga professional pro hagbong sa ethics pagka college nila

Penalty should not be too harsh.
    by Mike Santos
    Sun Star Daily Cebu

VOLUMES have been said about Jan-jan’s “perfume canister-from-the-anus” saga.

The issue now is no longer whether erring doctors and nurses should be punished but how harsh the penalty should be.
It should range from a minimum of reprimand to a maximum of either imprisonment or even the stripping off of their licenses.

Forgive me for being practical about it, but if asked I would answer that revoking the licenses of the doctors and nurses is impractical and should therefore not be resorted to.

    Here are my reasons:

    1. While it is true that these personnel laughed after the perfume canister was successfully pulled out from the patient’s rectum without open operation, such laughter could just be an expression of joy in the light of such feat.

During the operation, care was evident, which is amplification of the point that the medical staff was concerned of Jan-Jan’s safety and not of his/her peril.

    2. Punishment should only be to send a message that next time they should refrain from such excessive noise, limit the people inside the operating room only to those who were authorized, and see to it that in case a video really needs to be taken, it should not be uploaded like it was to say, YouTube and the like.

The penalty should just be enough, too, to discourage others to emulate such excesses.

    3. If the complaint is about the members of the medical team mocking the patient, that may have been the first time as opposed to being rampant or repetitive. This point should be mitigating.

If the complaint is that they cause shame and embarrassment or moral damage to Jan-Jan, I say he/she should be more ashamed of what his lover did to him.

Besides, such ridicule can be aimed at him only if he unmasks himself, like what he seems to be planning.

Jan-Jan has all the freedom in the world to remain incognito and avoid public scorn, unless he intentionally tells his
    neighbors about it.

Maybe the P6-million claim is more enticing to him than the idea of avoiding real embarrassment.

    4. These medical practitioners need their jobs in a government hospital less than the hospital needs their services. Their job is what we can call thankless and payless.

I once went to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center to have my father treated and I was a witness to how many poor patients waited to be attended to---not because doctors are lazy but because they are few.

Strip the Jan-Jan attendants of their licenses and you deprive the patients in a government hospital of a chance to be treated, as they could not afford the services of private hospitals.

Imagine how many dengue victims will die. Once the licenses of the concerned doctors and nurses are revoked, only few medical practitioners will remain to attend to the patients.

Strip the members of the medical team of their licenses and the real oppressed will suffer even as Jan-Jan will walk his way to the bank and withdraw his P6 million, which would be enough to pay his lovers.

On a personal note, the license of the person who posted it on YouTube should be revoked because he or she went too far and did it intentionally. If nobody will admit or they can't pinpoint that person or let a "nobody" take the blame then the person in-charge of the operation should be sacked.

In the United States the government through HIPAA is very strict about patient's personal information or health status. Which apparently is not practiced in the Philippines and medical practitioners are supposedly be guided by just ethics and in this case, the lack of it.

wa tay mahimo... bisan unsa pa ilang buhaton ani mapildi jud sila sa kaso kos the evidence itself is so rampant and it can be sourced everywhere... gaba na ni nilang mga tawhana ni.. wa sila nagkugi....

Revoking their license is a wake-up call to all Medical Practitioner.
This is also a start in practicing Doctors-Patients Privacy strictly.
let the government worry hiring additional license doctors...
rather than putting those duck-tors back in VSMMC.

They already put the Philippines Medical Tourism back into the Map of a scandal again after the DH issue.
