This is an interesting question.......

If I were in this situation and assuming I have no other chance of saving my love one, or even stranger from that crazy guy other than killing him, then I will kill the crazy guy.

There is a commandment that says "Thou shall not kill". But there is no command which says "thou shall not protect yourself from harm or your friends, brothers, sisters or strangers", in my opinion, as a Christian, it is my duty to protect myself and the others from harm.

Anyway, another way of weighing which decision is better is to ask myself. Asa ko mas ma konsensiya? Letting the innocent victim(not to mention love one pa jud nimo) live or letting the crazy guy live. In my opinion, mas makonsensiya ko kung buhi ang buang unya namatay ang inosente.

In my opinion, not killing the crazy guy because it is in the ten commandments, is a selfish and cowardice act. You were not thinking about the victim's sake, but you were just thinking about yourself, about the consequences that you will face by breaking such a rule. Isn't it a noble Christian value to suffer for other's sake?

God is a loving and "just" God.

of course kailangan correct ang pagka-interpret. but the sad thing is, the interpretation is based on a poor translation of the original Greek.

ang dapat mo-interpret kanang walay bias to any particular religion. an academic scholar not associated with a particular religion.

Dapat kita mga christian fundamentalist ato interpretation sa Bible when it comes to what Christ told us to do in relation to our fellow human beings. The rest pwedi nato itimbang what is realistic or not.
