..like i said What goes on inside the operating room, stays in the operating room... meaning, everything that happens inside the operating room is confidential. There are uglier things than this that has undergone inside the operating room.
thanks for clarifying things up. the reason i asked is coz you failed to include that in your first statement. anyhow, i beg to disagree though. i am not a doctor but i know 200% that every medical student has been taught the value of medical ethics. but where's the ethics in that? does allowing video recording inside the operating room seem CORRECT to you (in this situation, it is obvious there was no consent form signed by the patient for the doctors to record the operation)?Originally Posted by fingolfin
you just said it, "everything that happens inside the operating room is confidential."... i bet the doctors were DUMB enough to have allowed students to take VIDEOS inside, considering the fact that uploading it on sites like YOUTUBE is as easy as 1+1 = 11.
can't get any more public than that.
Just a comment ... don't you think the title of this thread should have been V. Sotto Medical Surgery DEBACLE instead of SPECTACLE?
OT: either way works.Originally Posted by xhararee

SPECTACLE - In general spectacle refers to an event that is memorable for the appearance it creates.
Memorable in a good way. This wasn't memorable in that way for the patient or the surgical team. In the context of what happened, the word DEBACLE will be more fitting.
if you put a bit of sarcasm in the title then the word SPECTACLE would be fit enough.Originally Posted by xhararee

Just because the guy is poor magpasalamat na hinuon siya, he was treated unethically, kaklaro atong sobra sobra ang kantyaw because the operating room was very crowded in the first place. Basin para nila common ra nang manumbay sa pikas operating room para lang mangantyaw. Successful operation? IMO if it was a unique case it wasn't a very difficult case nga manghugyaw sila ug hilabihan, mas makasabot ra ko kung life or death nga case and successful ang operation.Originally Posted by fingolfin
