what i usually do is i make sure im well hydrated by drinking lots of water and having plenty of rest. sometimes i take aspirin, paracetamol or acetaminophen. a fever is not an illness itself, but a symptom of an illness. usually a fever is a sign that our body is fighting off an infection, commonly viral or bacterial. viruses and bacteria will find it difficult to survive when our temperature is higher than normal.

if you have a low grade fever then i think its okey to leave it alone. its not good to interfere too much with our body's own immune response. but if your temperature reaches 39 to 41 degC and does not improve or go away after 3 days then i think its a good idea to visit the doctor.

water therapy. lots and lots and lots of water. if kaya 3 L in a day, that's good. not necessarily water, other liquids will do. apple/grape juice will be great.

    Sponge bath

    Drink lots of water

Try to sweat out the fever.

If that doesn't work, soak some cotton balls with vinegar and put then on your armpits and forehead. Im not sure what the venigar does exactly buts that's what my grandmother and mother does when me and bro have high fever and it won't lower. you'll know it's effective when the cotton dries up in a few minutes.. resoak with vinegar until you body cannot absord it any longer. It stinks, but it sure beats going to the hospital.
