National Holidays..Duna pa bay kahulugan?

some investor kay magduha-duha ug invest sa Pilipinas... one reason because we do have lots of National Holidays.

Kinsa ba ang naka pabor aning long vacation?Morag taga govt office ra man tingali?na dugay ang ilang bakasyon yet ang ilang effectiveness sa service mao lang gyapon.

Daghan kaayo ang nakabenefit aning long holidays, not only government officials and workers.

dpende ra man gyud na sa taw kon butangan ba niya og kahulugan ang usa ka holiday....bisan unsa pa nang adlawa or petsaha ibalhin kon ikaw mismo wa nag huna huna kon unsa ang gi celebrate anang adlawa sa holiday(unsa diay binisaya sa holiday? karne norte? ) wa gihapoy ayo....sama anang holy week imbes mag pinitinsya ang uban tua hinoon sa mga beach so sala ba diay na sa gobyerno/presidente? naa ra gyud na nmo dba?

i would agree about this holiday economics... but the problem is, gi-usab2x na ang dates onya usbon2x pa jud kung ibalhin pa jud sa weekend. take for example this coming May 1.

Holiday Economics states that it should be May 2 that has no work, but now May 1 na sab ang wala'y trabaho? Nagdala lng og libog. Kung mag Holidays Economics man gani... klarohon na lng, para ang employer og employee dili mangalibog.

.. it's much better to adjust the holidays, coz in doing so, the employees will have a longer holiday-weekend.

May 1 is International Labour Day. International ha, not local. Phils can't move it to another date.

Isn't it just better to get rid of FIXED holiday dates? The way GMA is always changing the dates of the Holidays, might as well not fix them.

Instead of saying June 12 is Independence Day, how about the 2nd Friday of June. The date itself loses its significance if it keeps moving.

Or Christmas is not on December 25 but the 3rd Friday of December. Mga ganun. Kay hasol cgeg huna huna nya mao ra diay gihapon ilisan. Haller.

Or better yet ... make the Holidays ALWAYS fall on a weekend. That way wala nay HOLIDAY. Productivity man kaha ganahan.
