George Martin (Producer of the Beatles/and the 5th member of the Beatles) admires Noel Gallagher's songwriting ability, its quite ironic when Oasis usually copies from the Beatles.
the Gallagher brothers once had a war of words with George Harrison. but  soon settled down when Noel finally met George.
My vote goes to Oasis... for their first 2 albums "Difinitely Maybe" and "Whats the Story Morning Glory".. besides Stone Roses they're one of the reasons why the Brit Pop movement became mainstream back in the day.... They were really big back in the mid 90's..
after Mornig Glory they went down..... too bad. my advice get their first 2 albums and avoid the rest..
