kung ako lang kaugalingon nga opinyon noh:

2) kung gi allow man gani ang pagdala ug video, ok ra. pero kay wala man sila makakuha ug consent sa pasyente
para maka video, nganong naa may nagpadayon ug pagkuha sa video nga wala may consent sa pasyente?

3) kung walay nagdala ug video o dili tugutan ang phone camera o video sa OR, walay maka video di ba? samot
walay maka-upload? kinsa man ni rong responsibilidad nga mapatuman ning simple nga balaod?

4) ang wala ma uyoni sa tanan aning hitabo-a kay ang pagbugal-bugal man sa mga tawo sa OR sa sitwasyon sa pasyente.

Americans, Europeans or etc.? They make impressions in general and I tell you this is a real threat to the would-be nurses or RN's hoping to land a job outside the country. It's a no-brainer really. Maayo raba kaayo na sila mo generalize diri. I can just imagine EVEN their patients nga nakadungog ug balita pareha ani o di, mawad-an ug kompyansa sa mga filipino nurses di ba?

What you do there affects how you are viewed by the world. Isolated incident? It doesn't matter because it can still contribute greatly to the reputation of medical professionals from the Philippines as a whole.

Guys the keyword here is Marketability and whatever baho ipagawas gikan diha sa ato, manimaho gyud. My sister who used to work at Marriott Hotel once had lunch with her colleagues and on the news was about the Philippines, she felt so bad when all of her friends all looked at her and they seemed to have an impression that we all live in nipa huts in our country, or even my co-worker asked me if we really eat snakes or whatnot everyday! Although HR professionals in hospitals are adept to current employment trends and issues but am sure they'll hear about this one.

The medical world is not a laughing matter, it has to be taken cared of very cautiously, will patients trust you based on reputation? THIS IS A BIG DEAL. Slowly, with these incidents, hospitals will be very extra cautious when thinking about hiring filipino nurses.

naa koy co-worker sauna nga giingnan ko walay laing nahibaw-an nga kurso ang pinoy "NARSING" ra gyud. i was slightly offended by her remarks pero it definitely shows how IMPORTANT it is para natong mga pinoy nga makalarga sa gawas, be a nurse and be successful. kani karon nga scandal is definitely a threat to our future abroad and this issue is not gonna slow down anytime soon.

when you say BIKTIMA, do you feel sorry for them? wa manta kahibaw kung unsay MOTIVE sa nag upload or kung unsay purpose niya ngano iyang g-upload pero one thing is for sure, na publicize na and it's too late for those sorry arse medical staff sa SOTTO and na expose ilang KABUANG.

IMO kinahanglan naa gyud nay sanction i-implement sa mga responsable coz if not, everybodyelse in the world would feel it is probably normal in the Philippines that's why those responsible were just left off the hook. It will surely be more of a struggle for new nurses coming in other countries again this time, so I hope medical professionals will take to heart their chosen profession this time.

But tinuod gyud na nga grabe kaayo mga taw diri mangimpression or mang general. If they hear the word Filipino or Philippines, gamay ra na sila'g highlights, kasagaran raba bati nga impression. Our country, kung ala pina simon pa, is just unnoticeable and unmemorable or unremarkable, pun-an pa ug mga ingon ani. naa koy pangutana nga wa pa gyud matubag ug ako to gipost diri sauna. granting they (staff) found themselves in the same situation and they were abroad (where obviously they get paid more for what they do, and stricter rules), would they do the same thing (laughing and humiliating the patient)? a no-brainer answer would be a simple NO. why? common sense tells me they have BETTER HC system and stricter laws abroad, whereas in the Philippines, medical staff only care about getting the job done for EXPERIENCE purposes so they can go ABROAD and get paid more; thus, caring LESS for the patient.

and yes, i am generalizing. sad reality, right?
