to the topic masons arent enemies of the church there are masons which are priests.. as i recall there was a Bishop and a Cardinal which are masons..

masonry isnt against the church.. the church seems to be QQ about masonry for they do not understand freemasonry..

freemasonry is about free thinking..

again... Masonry isnt evil, free masonry IS NOT anti christ.

its not the church in general..

its only some of the people in catholic church that find or think masonry is evil or anti christ. The matter of fact masons here in the PH are devote catholics.

and for the topic it is too general to say the "church".. its only 1 branch of the church (Roman catholic) that may see free masonry as that of what they think. The world is free to think what so ever they want to think it is the benefit of doubt that they have.

not all churches think the same. E.g. Protestants, Born agains think differently.

sadly The RCC think other wise about free masonry, as for an example about it, the down side of the RCC is that
if they do not understand what they see, the see it as anti christ or heresy which has been seen for so long in europe. There were alot of scientist, and thinkers that were persecuted for thinking the world is round which was proven other wise.

this example goes to free masonry, which the church does not fully understand free masonry or its branches thus seeing it a taboo towards the faith.

and it is not right to generalize the fact the all of the church is against Free masons.

as i stated about earlier in the my post some lay people and even part of the church are members of the Craft and its branches.

Pope John Paul II even gave good comments towards the branch of free masonry which is Order of DeMolay, commenting that it is a good order that it accepts its brother from all over the world no matter what religion, creed or race the members have.

lastly,

as a member of one of the branches of Free Masonry for 6yrs now, I am still devote to my faith which is Christianity. Nothing has changed in my beliefs.
