iphone can do everything i need and many more, except the bluetooth thing.

other things that n95 can do that iphone can't, i don't really need. so iphone is fine with me.

and yeah, iphone still leads in the voting. heheheh....

Why do you need bluetooth? where in you have wifi? and safari?
One thing Apple did that so that you won’t be able to use the iPhone as a wireless Bluetooth modem for a laptop on the road, for example (at least that’s the current plan).

most phones nowadays have bluetooth, less have wifi. in the case of exchanging contacts, documents or photos, mas sayun ang bluetooth. dili baya tanan imo kaila naa wifi nga phone. even those rich businessman doesn't have wifi. ma ulawan ta kung the point comes nga they need to beam you there contact info thru bluetooth nya imo phone hi-tech lagi kay iphone, nya wala diay bluetooth. maypa mga baratuhun nga phone.

It's just a matter of accepting and learning a new technology bro. I have no problem syncing my contacts with windows address book via usb that's why I don't need blue tooth. If blue tooth ang makapalipay nimo then go for the conventional fones, Iphone is not for you.

wifi is not an upgrade to bluetooth, bluetooth is the technology not necessarily missing but crippled on the iphone which makes the phone worth less than a Nokia 7650.

what if the place where you inted to exchange contacts, transfer photos or any data does not have a wifi network? Mag tanga nalang mo?

    and...

safari? its not really pleasing, i browse on safari kung wa nay lain, OPERA MINI which comes free on any symbian phone is MUCH BETTER!

I have a problem with safari, it does not save my username and password in istorya, so everytime i open istorya.net.. i have to log-in again, and again and again... and when i open another window, the window that currently on my screen will load, but the other windows hidden wouldn't until i bring them to front screen. And when i'm browsing on heavy web pages it goes back to the main screen that says "s;ode to unlock" irritating phone! The touch navigation is awesome but i had a very poor browsing experience. THUMBS DOWN to apple and to the iphone!

OPERA is much better, or the N95, E90, N82 web browser.

bai, how come when I use my ipod touch to connect istorya.net, naka save lagi ang user name and password and I don't have to log-in multiple times.

Not just in istorya.net but also in other forums like ipod touch fans forum, AUGI, and many more others.

kulang lang siguro sa set-up ang imoha...

Wala man gani ni nako giset-up gyud... murag log-in once and then when I go back, even with a new tabbed window, ok raman tanan.

Kulba-an gani ko nga mawala ang settings nako after i upgrade or restore my ipod touch, so far wala man nawala ang bookmarks and log in names niya. Naa man tanan.

Except for the third party programs, mawala gyud ang mga data nila after restore...

I came from a palm device and ganahan kaayo ko sa safari browser.

first...using it as a modem has nothing to do with it having a bluetooth...its a totally different protocol to begin with anyways!
meaning they can take out the protocol to diable modem usage as such while keeping/allowing protocol to send and receive files to other devices and stream music to bluetoth headsets.
point is all 3 of these protocols are available in n95 but not in the iphone...

second...we need bluetooth not to replace wifi but to send and receive files from one device to another (to another cellphone or portable device fast and easy)...
even stream music to our bluetooth headsets...which again is sadly not currently possible on the iphone.

i dont get your point... are you saying iphone is so hightech and superior right? are you saying we should accept it and learn it because its the new technology?
by that analogy then we should not coz' when you say new technology? wow! which came first? usb or bluetooth?
syncing via cable is uber new and unconventional diay?
ive been syncing via cable since the 90's...
conventional means widely used and widely accepted which CAN also means better functionality and compatibility and flexibility in interconnectivity and interoperability, that can only be good right?. imagine this, remember those text graphics people use to send...if your using "unconventional" phones then you wouldnt be able to see them. that was true for irda in a smaller scale. now in a bigger scale it even more true with business card sending and bluetooth sharing/streaming capabilities...sadly iphone lacks them miserably...
