Even if internet speeds reach exceptional levels, i know my ex-gf's mom realizes that there are such things as network bottleneck and network traffic or else I wont be a CISCO network admin today trying to figure out how to eliminate collision domains and design building network diagrams.

Demographics alone is a factor. Hardware is another factor. Weather and temperature can be a factor. The list goes on and on. Simply put, there are things in the world that we dont control, we can minimize the lag-time YES thats why I'm hired to work on it, fix those issues. Unless you live and breathe beside the server you WON'T EVER GET 100% PERFECT LAG-FREE connection and speed.
