what's the problem with releasing the names of these people? the media can always say "allegedly" and include "case is still on-going" right? why not? suspects' names in all other cases are mentioned always right? unless if it is a rape case or a case that involves minors where both have their names be protected. I am not a lawyer but I think in cases such as this, names should be published.

is it because these people are "professionals" that's why we put more emphasis in protecting "their names"?

its not OT kay related ra man... kay ang uban medical practitioners diri kay worried man sila unsa nalang isulti sa mga puti... work nalang diri sa Philippines, makatabang pa sa mas nanginahanglan... hehehehe its just my view... pero i still condemn kato gibuhat sa mga artista sa video... revoke their license gyud... list their names para aware ang mga tao kung kinsa sila, basin diay in the future magpatambal ta nila (kung dili ma revoke ila license) at least aware na ta kung unsa sila nga klase sa tao...

if they were abroad (high pay), same staff, would it have been a different story?

I'll just give you a short example.... My cozin apil siya sa leakage.... Katong last leakage sa nurses.... adto siyag texas.... nangaply graduate siya cebu doc... which is kalidad jud nga nursing skul... haa??
Pass na siya biography... everything is fine nata.... Until nahibaw-an ang Date sa iyang pag board... Apil d.i siya sa JUNE 2006 leakage... and poooof..... All hell breaks loose.... Wala na siya madawat sa Hospital ngadto sa texas... so ni BALIK NAJUD SIYA DIRI SA CEBU... ni retake siya... after a year.....

this is exactly what I'm trying to emphasize. I also have friends who got a hard time with their employment in the US because of the "Nursing Board Exam Issue". those Filipino medical practitioners WHO ARE ALREADY WORKING in the US, UK or any parts of the world won't be affected AS MUCH by this new issue just like the previous one. BUT STILL, a dozen or so nurses questioned because of having passed the 2006 Exam and eventually turned-down by employers is just a tip of the iceberg, we don't know the exact effect of the previous "exam cheating issue" because we don't follow each and every 2006 Exam takers. but that doesn't mean there was no negative effect.

the "VSMMC issue" will be followed closely and then we would know about it's impact on applicants abroad (Filipino medical workers) in the days to come. but it won't be any easier than the previous issue's (nursing board cheating) impact. I think it will only get worse.
