[color=navy]I humbly believe that things can work out for the best. I hope that this can be resolved in a just manner.
The victim should be properly compensated for the embarrassment and violation of trust and privacy he experienced. What happened to him should serve as a wake up call for everyone to be aware of. Such things can happen to anyone in any hospital but this can be prevented when people would act, rather than allow themselves to be victims.
The doctors and medical personnel who were involved in this display of non-professionalism should be severely disciplined and fined. Their medical licenses should be revoked, when justified. This would serve as an example to others in the medical community to remember what they're there for, which is basically to serve others, to serve the well-being of human lives.
When the authorities will dispense the sort of sanctions and corrective measures that will satisfy everyone's concerns for justice, then I don't think that this incident will be a blemish to the Filipino medical community but as something that will
prune out the deadwood and
improve the quality and character of our medical practitioners, both present and future.
Let us all keep an eye on this issue as it develops.
