Is this a Gi or No-Gi Jiu jitsu class? if it's Gi, what do we wear on the first day ? Are they lending out Gis? I'm planning on joining tomorrow.

you can start with no gi. just wear shorts and tshirt. on the first they (with me) he does drills, side controll and guard escapes. then you do it with partsnerts, one guy tries to escape guard and do side controll while the other guy tries to hold you in his guard or sweep. of course you are shown how to guard pass and sweep beforehand.

first 15 mins probably warmup exercises.

he trains using his gi, but no gi needed, i rolled with him wearing only tshirt and shorts.

1st time training with Justin. pretty exhilarating first time. So we started with warm ups for about 15 minutes, then he taught us guard passing, then the 3 of us newbies took turns trying to pass this tall white guy's (blue belt under Royce Gracie) guard without getting flipped over, naturally, none of us got through. Then we were partnered up and tried to pass each other guards, while the guy on the bottom tried for a submission or a reversal. then we did some sparring. This one guy caught me in an armbar, then afterwards got me in a choke. We all got pretty damn tired. this martial art is way more tiring than striking arts since you have to use your entire body and not just your arms or legs. The best thing about it is that you can go 100% every single time you train since sparring is intense but not painful unlike other striking arts. Please come join, this class is worth every peso.

I think he is under "megaton" diaz and not directly under royce gracie, yeah he is good(i mean buotan too), second time i partnered with him, i hit my head on the floor (accidentaly), then had injury on left stomach because of the "knee-on-belly" position (accidentally) its all because i didnt want to get rolled over or tapped. (obviously i got rolled over and tapped).
