It is very shameful to Filipino doctors and nurses, kanahay ra laging pasingitan ta ug istorya like sa desperate housewives. Tinuod gyud diay? If I was an American and saw that video? Oi, mo request gyud ko'g laing nurse ug makebaw kong akong nurse taga Philippines. See what I mean. Samot na tang i steretype ana. And then what? Pagarbo dayun, boycot boycot, utot ninyo! Kaklaro ana, the video itself only shows just how stupid the medical discipline is among Filipino medical professionals.

HELLO, IF NOT FOR PATIENTS WHO WOULD PAY YOU? Nganong mangasaba man ka sa taw nga gabayad nimo? It needs a lot of improvement gyud. Mga doctors gani sa atoa mga asyuso kaayo mangistorya murang mga kinsa, while diri, sus buotan pa, they even answer every question you have, because my God, it is your right.

Daan pa man nang mga medical professionals sa atoa ba, angin nalang nila ang mga maayo ug mga dedicated sa ilang trabaho. My God, ang mga student nurses gyuy grabe kaayo nanghugyaw! Nya tuga-tuga dayun panggawas sa nasud para mag nurse. I hope you all when indeed you get to US or other foreign countries, I hope they all grill you to the ground like what you all deserve.

this line from the TV show Desperate Housewives instantly got a lot of Filipinos outraged. online petitions demanding apology were started and rolling instantaneously. I actually witnessed these Filipino medical practitioners having noise barrage carrying placards just outside ABC Studio's Lincoln Square offices here in New York City every Wednesdays and Friday nights for how many weeks. an apology was issued by the company which states:

"The producers of Desperate Housewives and ABC Studios offer our sincere apologies for any offence caused by the brief reference in the season premiere," a statement said. "There was no intent to disparage the integrity of any aspect of the medical community in the Philippines. As leaders in broadcast diversity, we are committed to presenting sensitive and respectful images of all communities featured in our programmes."

but that wasn't enough. those same Filipino medical practitioners continued their protest even after the apology was issued and wanted a more formal and more public apology from the company specially their Desperate Housewives team. I don't know if they did get what they wanted afterwards.

BUT after this video came up, I don't know what those people (Filipino medical practitioners who fought for our dignity) are thinking right now. this video says a lot that contradicts what those guys were fighting for all those cold winter evenings lining up outside the network braving freezing temperatures. all of them would be sick to their stomach right about now knowing that this video more than supports the writers line about "questionable medical schools" in our country. it actually vindicated the same writer and the actress, Teri Hatcher, as well.

now I wonder, who among them had the last laugh??

Na tinood na gyud hinoon ang gi sulti ni Teri Hatcher. Basin mauwawan ra to ang mga ga protest. HAHAY...

i saw this one last february sa cellphone lang pud to noun. dont know na na abot na diay nig youtube....

kay bogo daw kaayu ang mga doctor ug ang staff nila diha.. coz.. very simple thing lang ang na overlook.. and that is patients right to privacy,...

haskang toy toya sa mga staff diha oi.. ka uwaw rah.. ok ra ang student nurse...

nag kat on ra gud na.. ang kanang staff ana diha..

ngano mo ingon man ka nga OK ra ang student nurse? responsably to sila tanan ato, walay exempted. wala diay na gi tudlo ang ethics sa school? or common sense na lang unta kong naa pa sila ana. angayan man gani nga dili to sila ipa graduate kay nagpaka-uwaw ra to sila sa ila school.
