their songs sux. they have this one song that sounds exactly like that song from Switchfoot. they copied the melody and arrangement and changed the last bit to a higher pitched progression. ewck!

yes they did, its the same melody. maybe they did it on purpose maybe they didnt, who knows. all i know is they write mediocre songs with mediocre lyrics. i dont know why people(mostly emo high school kids) are crazy about them. when that song by hale is played manically on the radio i doubt if thats their song playing or switchfoots. i hate both bands by the way, but hate hale to a certain more degree. hahaha.

well its yours if you think that way then let it be. nowadays imposible na kaayo mka create ka og music nga walay ka pareha sa uban. naa jud na bisan gamay. kung ni sundog sila well wala ta mahimo ana but if mo ingon ka u hate them kay nanundog sila well u might hate all the pop musicians kay every musician has ther influence of ther music. peace!

copying a melody is entirely different from being influenced by another band/artist. mostly, when you're influenced, you either generate the same sound(effects), and do tinkering to the artist's songs and somehow you adapt and innovate the songwriting. but you wouldnt know that would you?

I just discovered these guys by way of the Internet [andito ako sa Amerika], and they're awesome to the ears! I totally dig "The Day You Said Goodnight", "Here Tonight" and "Kahit Pa". May these guys have more success and longevity.
