Ban private vehicles ; Osmeña says plan to help PUJ drivers

This will do more good to the majority. Aside from the fact that it will give more income for the PUV drivers, everybody will also experience lesser traffic congestion. Plus for motorists, it can help you save gas.

The drawback though is that grabe gyud ni kasakay during peak hours, especially in the morning and late in the afternoon. Everybody will be rushing towards PUJ stops and taxi stands. And of course, all the inconvenience that it brings, and maybe we can add the possibility of hold-ups go high when everybody is on the streets and PUVs.

But all in all, this proposal deserves a go. Anyway, not all routes will be closed for private vehicles.

basta i inform lang ug tarung ang public then naa ang Citom at this areas para ma check ang mga pa-ugat

if it works, its not a bad "band-aid" solution while we still dont have a mass transport system to speak of yet.
