The bad news first:
a. 5-9 PG Jabby Bautista could be out
b. 6-0 center Cid Cortes is nowhere to be found, he could be in Manila
c. 6-1 PF Bogs Llanto is hurting with a groin injury and a possible recurrence of his back injury
d. 5-9 Fil-am PG JP Cruz might also be out of the team
e. 6-3 Hawaii-based SG Rene Saycon has to settle some issues in his former school(ACSAT Dumaguete) before he can obtain his transcript
f. still very minimal support for the team
Now some good news:
a. USP leading scorer and deadly hitman Moncrief Rogado is rumored to play for USC soon
b. A Fil-Briton big man is trying out for a slot
c. a 6-2 Fil-am swimmer is arriving soon who might also try out for the basketball team
d. issue on invitations for 6-2 big man James Poblete and 5-10 PG Ben Belong clarified and could be sent out soon
e. hooked up with a Fil-am who is keeping a close eye on HSfil-am talents i LA, a possible goldmine
Some things fall in between:
a. Emel Rowe is still undecided
b. Chris Chinn has not sent word yet
c. James Ontal has still not shown up
