    Lord of the Rings from Doulos. All three books combined into one. Makalanag...but worth it.

    Longest single novel I've read from cover to cover is probably Herman Wouk's "War and Remembrance", not really that long at 1042 pages. I tried reading Tolstoy's "War and Peace" but wasn't even able to finish Book One. James Michener's "The Source" is also an attempt, also over 1000 pages but again, didn't finish reading it.
