JUNTHY VALENZUELA DONS THE BARANGAY JERSEY

Junthy "The Hitman" Valenzuela, one of the two remaining original players of the Red Bull Barakos since it joined the Pro League in Year 2000, has now been shipped to Barangay Ginebra.

A source close to the team confirmed that Junthy was seen practicing today with the Kings. The source also added that the deal was consummated in exchange for the future draft pick(s) of Ginebra, and not Sunday Salvacion, as earlier reported.

Junthy, who is well known for his hard-nosed defense and rugged style of play, will surely fit with the Barangay. His averages, close to 16 points and almost 5 rebounds per game, can surely help Ginebra in its quest for the Fiesta Cup Championship.

Unya cge ra'g salig sa iyang 9-man rotation. Mas ok pa ni Rodney ni Tubid, gitawag gud ni'g Rbert Horry sa PBA..hahaha!
