he was arrested on 1307 along with his knights and was interrogated and tortured repeatedly by the inquisitors. the inquisitors made a mockery of him by inflicting pain according to the wounds of jesus christ. if he was close to dying, they would stop torturing him and let him rest on the same linen cloth that his order used for initiation ceremonies. certain natural chemicals on his body reacted to the cloth thus creating that negative effect on the cloth many years later.

he was burned at the stake on 1314.

it's a true shroud sir. but what the people believe as the cloth that wrapped christ's body is not true. it has already been carbon-dated. it couldn't be earlier than the 12th to 14th century. so, it means that the cloth is from the middle ages. not from the time of christ.

it's interesting how Catholics "worshipped" one of the church' worst "enemy" atong panahona... Pasabot lng jud na ang Katolisismo that time kay taphaw kaau, based on fear, more on politics, more for command and control... bisag karon, these elements still exist... ako ra ni opinion ha

this is a fraud. it has already been proven by scientists.

it's funny how some people still believe this is true like they believe man had landed on the moon 40 years ago. =)
