1. Advantage of Raid0:
It will definitely load the games faster, specially big chunks of files.(Games mostly has big chunk of files that has to be unpacked everytime you play)
It has a Read/write speed Faster than any single drive, even single WD Raptor could not surpass raid0 drive when it comes to read/write.
It will definitely fast when it comes to big files handling.
Copying files is Fast.
Disadvantage:
It doesn't shorten the seek time in the disk. (Seek time remain constant and thats the advantage of Raptor Drive due to short seek time and no drive could beat that)
It doesn't have a performance advantage when it comes to smaller chunks of files.
If one of the drive fails, your files can not be recovered.
2. A good drive is always a good drive. Even if you only have a single drive, if it fail, it will really fail. If a single drive fail, it is possible that you still can recover your file. But still, backup is a must, coz you may recover, you may not.
3. I'm not sure with the speed difference, but maybe some of our fellow guys here knows it. I am not an expert on this, its just I'm used to it and feel the difference compared to when I use a single drive.
4. It will be detected automatically your 3Gbps when you remove the jumper, don't worry about it.
5.Definitely with loading time, but not with Frame per second (FPS). It should definitely help, specially with big Maps/Area.
Hope it helps. Gud luck...
