In cases like low back pains, MPS, Scoliosis etc, i would suggest a physical therapy treatment rather than a relaxing massage. Dili man massage purely ang p.t gud.. like we have the application of a heating modality, adjunct lang ang massage, then the t.e.n.s for the pain or the e.s to activate muscles, whatever is applicable. And also by schedule ang p.t. unlike sa massage na available mon to saturday sir.

Yes we do apply T.E.N.S. for physical therapy cases.

TENS sends electrical impulses through electrodes placed on or near the painful site causing a tingling sensation that reduces pain, even pain that hasn't responded to other treatments. Usually though, TENS is used in adjunct with other treatments prescribed by your doctor, and may help reduce the amount of pain killers required.

One theory on how TENS works is that it blocks pain in the spinal cord. Another is that stimulation with TENS causes natural pain relieving substances to be released, thereby reducing pain.
