both, some are literal and majority are symbolism/symbolic.
like Revelations 12, its a symbolic but some took it literally and consider that its Mary.
Peace!

If they are doing the right thing - though you might not share the same belief system -, then the right thing to do is just leave them be.
I think it is somewhat "insulting" on their part - being tried to be convinced to leave their belief system in order to foster another one. Why should they? If they firmly believe on what they believe in, they certainly wont be convinced, and most likely at some level, they might feel a little bit offended and bad.
I think it is rape when we try to persuade someone out of their belief systsem. Even though how right we think we are, we simply have no right to do so.
People would feel raped of their beliefs if being persuaded out of their beliefs. Oftentimes they would feel at least a little bit trespassed & offended.
To the believers in the Bible out there: Haven't you felt the same thing when you first heard about the Holy Grail/Mary Magdalene conspiracy?
Bottom-line: It is better to let them be.

if you're gonna watch or read the story of Kenshin Himura I can say that he has the characteristics of a Christian.Originally Posted by leo_trams

Even communist has in common with Christians.
Samurai like Kenshin who use reverse edge sword is what I like to be.
Its prohibited in the bible to kill.

it doesn't matter if you read the bible or not, as long as you're a good citizen.
